Research & Development

In 1993, we advanced our headset design by incorporating the noise cancellation feature. After our highly successful launch in 1995, we were able to move ahead in this area by its co-operation with Noise Cancellation Technologies, Inc.

Today, we have extended this expertise not just to in-flight headsets, but also to the commercial electronic headsets and telephony market, offering a whole line of headsets to this usage sector such as microphone headsets for cellular, telephony, walkie-talkie, and computer multimedia usage.

Long Prosper Enterprise Co., Ltd. in Taiwan

In the early 70's, when the airline industry was embracing on-board audio video programming, a new market for rugged, dependable and cost efficient headsets was developed. Confident of their abilities to offer professional services and superior quality products at a good price, founders of Long Prosper Enterprise Co., Ltd. (LPE) started their operations in 1973.

Today, LPE has grown substantially with the airline industry to become the largest manufacturer of in-flight headsets in the world.

Production Facility: Long Host, Ltd.

We now supply more than 40 million headsets a year (from first to economy class) to over 250 airlines throughout the world. In order to accommodate this target demand and remain competitive, we have moved production to P.R.C. which is operated as Long Host, Ltd.

Our ISO 9002 approved production facilities are located in the GuangDong area of P.R.C., very close to the Hong Kong border. We currently employ 3000 highly motivated technicians who operate more than 50 headset production lines around the clock. We do not only assemble the headsets but also manufacture all the components under this operation. This allow us to have total quality control and technical support, the latest state of the art designs, as well as the abilities to respond to market demands in the quickest and most efficient manner.

From plastic parts to electronic PCBs, we have full manufacturing capabilities with our 72 injection mold machines, sound test equipment, magnet machines and SMT equipment and more.
